MFR for Migraine Headaches
a drug free, effective solution

It seems as though the instance of migraine headaches has become as common as a cold these days. As a former migraine sufferer, I can attest to the many days of my life spent in a dark, silent room, trying to keep the pain reliever down (it always came back up…) and knowing that it would take at least 24 hours before I could function again.
There are many triggers for a migraine including lack of sleep, stress, lack of food, dehydration, food allergies, and hormones, but very often there is an underlying reason that these triggers effect the body in such a way, and that reason involves the fascial system!
Basically, the dura is the fascial covering of the spinal cord, running up from the sacrum, encasing every nerve branching out of the spinal cord, around the inside of the foramen magnum (hole in the base of the skull), to the falx cerebri, which divides the hemispheres of the brain, and in and around the brain itself. This craniosacral system is hydraulic in nature, and is quite sensitive and heavily influenced by pressure change. Since the fascial system is one continuous structure composed of fluid filled tubules that encase and penetrate every structure of the body down to the cellular level, pressure or restrictions anywhere in the fascial system can physically pull on this sensitive neural cranial structure. This fascial pull has been measured at up to 2000psi! If you suffer from migraines, this begins to make sense of the visual symptoms (the optic nerve runs through the foramen magnum) and the intense pain and pressure, as well as the nausea (restriction in the vagus nerve).
The most common source of pressure to the dural system is from an unbalanced pelvis. This is common in growing teenagers, especially those who have poor posture or participate in sports or have an overly flexed, exended, or torqued pelvis from birth, surgery or injury. If this pelvic torsion is not addressed early, it becomes the new normal for the body, and results in years of migraines and other dysfunctional compensations. Before you simply rely on medication, nerve blocks or other permanent invasive procedures to put a band aid on the symptoms, try MFR to address the source of your migraines!
