I would like to share about my week long experience at Therapy on the Rocks, John Barnes’ clinic in Sedona, Arizona, where I just received a fifteen session intensive MFR treatment, some of which included hands on from multiple therapists.
Committing to opening yourself to whatever needs to occur for your own healing is not easy because it means venturing into the unknown, but it is essential for true progress. And the beauty of this progress is that no one needs to tell you from a lab result or a scan -- you can feel it happen. Having the opportunity to have one, two or up to four therapists’ hands sinking in, resonating with my body and releasing fascial restrictions allowed me to fully feel the “map” of restricted fascia spiraling through my body. Their encouraging words and challenging questions during treatment enable the letting go into a profound state, allowing my essence to move me through the spiraling energy and out of restriction -- an evolution of sorts – and into a more authentic me. Along with the physical restrictions releasing, I was able to become aware of childhood fears and beliefs trapped in those tissues. And with that awareness I made the choice to let go into the most exhilarating, freeing, and beautiful spiral movement that fed my soul. Did anything change? You bet.
I love this work!
